We had an exciting fast run around the fields with our boarding dog George this morning. Rocky and Paige had great fun running after George, all of them enjoyed hiding in the long grass. It certainly was fun keeping up with them!
We went on one of our mega walks with the four dogs today. The sun was shining and thankfully there was no rain! It was another pleasant walk through the fields and over the styles. On the way back, Janet wanted to clean her boots in the stream but Fudge had different ideas and so Janet and Fudge nearly went swimming! The day ended with lots of cuddles in front of the t.v.
On our morning walk with Doug today we brought along Rocky, who he has not met yet. They got along perfectly straight away and stayed by each other's side throughout the whole walk. They played nicely together and they soon became partners in crime, taking it in turns to go into the water and paddle! They had lots of fun and certainly enjoyed themselves.
We had such a wonderful walk with the four dogs this afternoon. We took all four at once, a crazy idea indeed! But, they all behaved and were good doggies. We all definitely enjoyed ourselves, taking the dogs on a long walk through many fields and over several styles. They loved walking through the patches of long grass, sniffing every inch their noses could reach. We ended up with three tired dogs, Hudson being the exception of course as he would have walked for much longer! On returning to their house, we found the sleeping cats all comfy on the beds.
What an adventurous walk we had! We wanted to find new walks with Peppa and we certainly found one! Up and down steep and narrow paths, alongside a river with many looming trees, all made one fantastic walk. We had great fun and Peppa was a well behaved boy. He thoroughly enjoyed a little paddling in the river, and muddly puddles of course!
Our second day with the four dogs today and thankfully for our walks there was no rain! Our day had lots of cuddles and play time in the morning, with cheeky Hudson trying to find and then hide his bones. We had our walks in the evening and the dogs were well behaved again. We did attempt to explore a little for a new walk but we quickly found out that it led to the usual walk, so thank you Fudge and Hudson for taking us the correct way! After our walks we all had lovely cuddles before bed.
We took our dog Paige and our boarding dog George with us this morning on another new walk with Doug. Doug already is great friends with Paige and so he made a new friend with George. They got along great and all three of them quickly began to play together. They all had great fun and were well behaved. Cheeky Paige and Doug had a quick splash in the lake before charging off with George through the fields, making all of the butterflies flutter by.
Today was our first day with 'The Four Dogs'. We were extremely excited to begin our two weeks and so were the dogs! The walks with them were very entertaining, especially with Oryx as on that particular walk through the park we were nearly knocked on our heads with nuts by some squirrels! We stayed and watched them for a bit, making sure to dodge out of the way every once in a while which Oryx had great fun with! They were all well behaved and we enjoyed walking them.
We gave Doug a new walk today. We have a lovely walk for dogs next to our house and so we took Doug there this morning. He enjoyed his new walk, going up and around the big hill and sniffing for new things in the long patches of grass. He certainly loves going to new places and running up and down the footpaths having a sniff everywhere! What a lovely walk we had this morning.
